Across the US, a huge share of nail salons are Vietnamese-owned — small businesses run by people juggling front desk, staff, and books all at once. Most of them are still tracking hours on paper, texting the schedule, and splitting tips by hand at the end of the night.
Kệ started as a way to fix that for one salon. It began with the time clock and tips, and now covers the front desk too: customer check-in, who's up next, appointments, and commission tracking for salons that pay by commission. It's still built to be simple enough for an owner with no technical background to set up, not another piece of enterprise software that needs a manual.
No feature you have to dig through a manual to find. If it takes more than a sentence to explain, it's probably not going in.
Kệ gives you the hours and tip data — you and your accountant handle the final numbers. No black-box calculations.
No monthly fee for Kệ Timesheet, no per-employee pricing that punishes you for growing your team.
Questions go straight to the person building the product — not a support ticket queue.
Kệ is built by a small, founder-led team — direct support from the founder, whenever you need it.
We're also testing Kệ Inventory, a stock tracker for small shops, in a closed beta.
