Privacy Policy

      Your privacy matters to us. We collect only what is necessary to provide each Service and do not sell your data to third parties. Kệ Inventory stores your data locally on your device and does not send it to us. Our public marketing pages use limited advertising tools (see Section 3) — the products themselves do not.
    

1. Who We Are

Kệ Inventory and Kệ Timesheet are operated by Ke app, LLC, a Texas limited liability company. When this policy says "we," "us," or "our," it refers to Ke app, LLC. "You" refers to the person using either Service.

2. Information We Collect

Kệ Inventory

Kệ Inventory does not require an account and stores all product, inventory, and sales data locally on your device using on-device storage — this data is not transmitted to or stored on any Kệ server. We do not collect your name, email, or business information through Kệ Inventory. If you purchase the optional Kệ Pro upgrade, that purchase is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play billing system; we do not receive or store your payment card details.

Kệ Timesheet

From business owners (account holders):

Name and email address (for account creation)
Business name, address, and timezone
Subscription and billing information (processed by our payment provider)
Business configuration settings (commission tiers, tip rules, etc.)

From employee records (entered by the business owner):

Employee name and role
PIN (stored as a one-way bcrypt hash — we cannot read the original PIN)
Clock-in and clock-out timestamps
Tip distribution records
Time-off requests

Automatically collected (Kệ Timesheet and kenailapp.com only):

IP address and browser/device type (for security and diagnostics)
Usage logs (pages visited, actions taken within the Service)

Kệ Inventory does not make network calls to Kệ servers, so none of the automatically-collected items above apply to it.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and maintain Kệ Timesheet
To authenticate users and secure accounts
To generate time and tip reports for your business
To send account-related emails (billing, password reset, service updates)
To diagnose technical issues and improve the Service

The Kệ Timesheet product (owner dashboard, employee clock-in, and all account/business data) is never used for advertising, and is never shared with advertising partners.

Our public marketing website (kenailapp.com) uses the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to understand how visitors find us and to measure ad performance. This applies only to the public marketing pages — not to the logged-in Kệ Timesheet product or to the Kệ Inventory app. The Meta Pixel may collect your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, and sets a cookie (_fbp) for this purpose. See Meta's Cookies Policy for details. You can limit this via your browser's tracking settings or Meta's ad preferences.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Kệ Inventory: your data is stored only in local storage on your own device. We never receive a copy of it, so there is nothing on our end to secure or lose — the security of that data depends on the security of your device.

Kệ Timesheet: your data is stored in the United States using Supabase, a managed database platform with row-level security (RLS). Each business's data is isolated and accessible only to that business's account. Employee PINs are hashed using bcrypt before storage; we do not store plaintext PINs.

While we implement industry-standard security practices, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Kệ Inventory does not share data because it does not transmit any to us. For Kệ Timesheet, we may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers: Third-party vendors who help operate the Service (e.g., Supabase for database hosting, payment processors for billing). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
Advertising partners (marketing website only): Meta (Facebook/Instagram), via the Meta Pixel on our public marketing pages, for ad measurement. This does not include any data from the Kệ Timesheet or Kệ Inventory products themselves.
Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or government authority.
Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

Kệ Inventory: since your data lives only on your device, retention is entirely in your control — uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes it, and we retain no copy.

Kệ Timesheet: we retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel your account, your data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted, unless we are required by law to retain it longer. Anonymized, aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.

7. Employee Data and Employer Responsibility

This section applies to Kệ Timesheet. If you use Kệ Timesheet to track employee data, you are the data controller for that employee information. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents from your employees and for complying with applicable employment and privacy laws in your jurisdiction.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data. For Kệ Inventory, you can exercise these rights yourself at any time since your data stays on your device. For Kệ Timesheet, contact us at ke.hello@kenailapp.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice within the affected Service. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
